Review: Although picking up litter is very helpful, it is not tackling the issue at hand. We have a plastics problem and it starts with our consumption. We need to be more conscious with everything we buy or else we will continue to have litter problem until the end of time.
Happy Sustainability Sunday! And with World Environment Day being this past week, there’s no better way to celebrate our beautiful planet than by taking in the majestic views she has given us. However, it is imperative of us humans to ensure that we leave no trace behind. We’re about to go all cliche on your ass and say the age old expression: “Leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but pictures, make nothing but memories.” So poetic. So corny. Yet so true. Whether you volunteer at cleanup events, pick up trash along the trail, or commit to buying sustainable products, all of it is helping minimize the impact we have on our environment.
