Happy Sustainability Sunday!! It’s laundrrryyy dayyyy!! And as much as we all hate laundry, we hate hurting the planet even more. There’s nothing like the smell of fresh linen, but if it means polluting the environment, we have to change the way we wash.
With each load, we are contaminating our water systems with harmful chemicals that are typically found in laundry products. The abundance of these containers and non-eco-friendly dryer sheets only add to our growing plastics problem, with nearly 70% of these bottles not being properly recycled. With one billion of these jugs discarded each year, the impacts can be permanent (press).
With these three items from @wellearthgoods, we have not only reduced our environmental impact, but they have made laundry even easier.
