The Best Pizza of All Time

Vegan Traditional Margherita Pizza


Prep Time: 15 min | Cook Time: 35 min | Serving Size: 3 people


Ingredients

  • 1 Package of Pre-Made Dough (Pillsbury is accidentally vegan, but there are a lot better and healthier alternatives out there. Feel free to even make your own.)

  • 1 Can (8oz) of Crushed Tomatoes

  • 1 Package of Vegan Mozzarella Cheese

  • 1 cup of Fresh Basil

  • Olive Oil

Additional Toppings:

  • We made this pizza the classic margarita style, but stay tuned for other pizza variations in the future!


  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. Open the package of dough and stretch across your baking sheet. We aligned our baking tray with a reusable silicone parchment sheet. Curl the edges to make a thicker crust border.

  3. Add a few spoonfuls of tomato sauce and spread it around to cover the dough.

  4. Sprinkle the cheese over the sauce and dough to cover most of it.

  5. Add a few basil leaves on top of the cheese.

  6. Sprinkle some olive oil over the pizza.

  7. Place the pizza in your oven for 35-45 minutes, until the cheese begins to bubble and brown a bit. The crust should be a slight golden brown.

  8. Cut the pizza!

  9. Viola! Enjoy!
