The All-American Bipartisan Pancake

Three-Ingredient Banana Oat Pancakes

Prep Time: 5 min | Cook Time: 15 min | Serving Size: 4 people

Ingredients

  • 3 Ripe Bananas

  • 1 ½ cups of Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats

  • 1 cup of Non-Dairy Milk (Team Oat ALL DAY)

  • Vegan Butter or Margarine for Frying (Can Substitute Oil Here)

Spices (optional):

  • 3 tbsp of Maple Syrup or Agave Syrup

  • 1 tbsp of Cinnamon

  • 1 tbsp Ground Flaxseed (To Thicken the Mixture)

Additional Toppings:

  • Banana

  • Blueberries

  • Strawberries

  • Vegan Butter

  • Maple Syrup or Agave Syrup

  1. Add all the ingredients to a blender: bananas, oats, & oat milk. Feel free to add syrup, cinnamon, and any other ingredients you like in your pancakes. Blend until the consistency is slightly viscous but still a little runny. You can add flaxseed to thicken up the mixture.

  2. Turn on a saucepan to medium heat and drop some vegan butter once the pan has heated up. Spread the butter around the pan.

  3. Drop about ½ - 1 cup of the batter onto the saucepan. You can adjust the amount depending on what size pancake you want.

  4. Leave for about 3-5 minutes, until the batter begins to bubble on top. Take a spatula to the edges to lift up the pancake and see what the other side looks like. Once it is crispy golden brown, it is time to flip!

  5. Flip that thang!!!

  6. Leave for about another 3-5 minutes, until both sides are golden-brown and cooked through.

  7. Serve with syrup, butter, and fresh fruit!

  8. Viola! Enjoy!
